Construction Tools Identification & Usage
Learn about the various tools that are used in construction and how to use them correctly and efficiently. Tools include a tape measurer, speed square, and various types of hammers.
Project
Using knowledge from math, tools and identification and usage, physical conditioning, and work readiness, pre-apprentices work together to build a project.
OSHA 10 & HAZMAT
Participate in a 3-day training about safety hazards on and around the construction site to earn two certifications.
Basic Math
Review concepts including the Pythagorean Theorem, ratios, fractions, and measurements. Learn how to apply math to construction.
Work Readiness
Develop work ethnics like punctuality, working within a team dynamic, and communication, among other important skills.
Physical Conditioning
Test your strength and endurance by being timed while you carry and stack material .
