Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.
CTP partners with Chrysalis to provide training to their clients who are part of the Skills and Experience for the Careers of Tomorrow (SECTOR) program, which is aimed at helping people who have been impacted by or otherwise involved in the justice system to develop the skills they need for well-paying jobs with opportunities for career advancement. After completing carpentry training with CTP, Chrysalis clients are connected to construction jobs, in which they earn a living wage and demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Los Angeles College Prep Academy (LACPA) graduates socially conscious learners and leaders who are prepared to succeed in the nation’s top colleges and universities. LACPA is a small, 9-12 grade college preparatory school located in northeast Los Angeles.
CTP partners with LACPA to train its school community members including students and alumni (for more information view video link to the left).
