Carpenter Training Partners has partnered with Chase Bank to provide a host of financial literacy workshops for our students that ultimately work to close the racial wealth gap in the respective communities we serve. Community manager Jesse, alongside his colleagues.work tirelessly to provide these workshops and other services for CTP students. Workshops include budgeting and understanding credit, among other topics.

Paving the Way Foundation is a nonprofit organization that enables people of all walks of life to be healthy and active using much-needed resources to help improve the quality of their lives. CTP partners with Paving the Way Foundation to train participants who want to use their second chance to learn about the construction trade, develop their skills in using the various tools, and placed on a job. The INVEST Program provides a myriad of training services for justice-involved individuals who look for sustainable employment. In collaboration with Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services, the County of Los Angeles Probation Department, the County of Los Angeles Office of Diversion and Re-Entry, INVEST offers an array of programs countywide, to serve their participants. The ultimate goal of the program is to reduce recidivism in the County.

Carpenter Training Partners train participants referred from INVEST to CTP to complete the 1-month course, “Foundations in Construction” as well as the 15-week continuous hands-on training program.

Participants are trained at our Lancaster training center located on the site of Paving the Way Foundation.
